Welcome to Abigail’s Bead Company
Jewellery and the thrill of customising bespoke pieces for my clients is my passion.
From a young age I was inspired by the colour, structure and texture of everything from jewellery and fabrics to buildings and machinery.
Hunting through my Mother’s and Grandmother’s jewellery boxes sparked a fascination with semi-precious stones and their settings. On family holidays by the sea, I would always seek out the local jewellery shops looking for an interesting ring to add to my growing collection.
The thrill of customising clothes to my taste during my teens led me to study at the London College of Fashion, where its jewellery workshop became my second home.
I then went on to study jewellery and silversmithing at Central St. Martins college in London, leading me to teach design at one of the UK’s leading jewellery school, in Carnaby Street.
All this has led me here and in 2013 I launched Abigail’s Bead Company.
Every piece – whether it be a ring, bracelet, necklace or pair of earrings, is hand made and a one-off.
I only ever make ONE of each design – something my customers truly value
As well as selling directly to customers – via my Facebook page and website – I also exhibit and sell collections at a select number of independent boutiques (currently all London-based).
So, take a look at my collections and get in touch.
Now I design and handcraft my own jewellery collections, selling them through independent gift shops across London, and online.
I love working with customers on commissions, so get in touch if you would like to commission a special and bespoke piece of jewellery, for yourself or a loved one.
Visit our ONLINE SHOP for ideas and to find out more. Or email or give me a ring – check out my Contact Us page
I hope you love the pieces here as much as I do & don’t forget to check out all our social media accounts…
